1. Objectives:
   In this courses students will develop the necessary skills to carry on, independently, tasks of qualitative classification and quantitative analysis of images from the main satellites of Earth observation, using data with a spatial resolution from 1m to 1km. Emphasis will be given to classification of vegetation cover applications and detection on its change, mainly the ones induced by fire and cutting / harvesting, together with analysis of vegetation cover dynamics, through vegetation indices
