• Xuanhui Zhou at the University of Lisbon with the thesis entitled: "Spatial and Temporal Anaysis of Landscape Fragmentation in Cork Oak Woodlands: Are there differences between certified and non-certified areas, supervised by Prof. Miguel Nuno Bugalho on the 27th November 2020.
• Shankar Thapa at the University of Lleida with the thesis entitled: “Societal evaluation of forest ecosystem services and their trade-offs in Catalonia” in the University of Lleida,  2nd of December. 
• Olha Nahorna at the University of Lisbon with the thesis entitled: " Addressing forest ecosystem management planning concerns with linear programming. An application in Portugal, under the supervision of Prof. José Calvão Borges on the 3rd December 2020.
