Degree and Diploma
In the end of the MEDfOR programme the student obtains a Double, Multiple or Joint Degree, as determined by the mobility track, and the national regulations and course accreditation of each university. The student can obtain a degree from all Universities where it complete a period of study of at least 30 credits (ECTS) - a semester.
The Final diplomas and Certificates are issued by the Academic Divisions or Offices in charge of each University, and each has its own rules on what concerns timings and prices.
Below are the designation of the degrees the student will obtain at each MEDfOR Consortium University. Remember that a student will get a MSc degree from each of the universities where he/she complete a period of study encompassing at least 30 credits (ECTS).
So, for example if a student decides to spend his/her first year in the U of Lisbon and the second year in the U of Tuscia, he/she will receive a double degree and possess a diploma from U of Lisbon and one from U Tuscia. In both diplomas he/she will have the complete list of courses converted to the grade scale of the University of each country. he/She will also have the title Master in MEDfOR – Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resourses Management and the title Master in Scienze Forestali e Ambientali.
In addition to the diploma released by the different universities, all MEDfOR students receive a certificate issued by MEDfOR, explaining their career path.
