Our alumnus Muha Abdullah Al Pavel recently published the scientific paper "Linking the effects of nursery light and fertilization and post-transplant first summer irrigation on the field survival and growth of Pinus pinaster seedlings", which is part of his MEDfOR thesis, in the journal New Forests. Congratulation Pavel!

Pavel, from Bangladesh, studied at the University of Padua (Italy) and at the University of Valladolid (Spain) in the academic years 2015/2017. He is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. research fellow in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies (Specialization: Forest Engineering) within the scope of Forest Flux Project (https://www.forestflux.eu/forestflux-em-portugues/) at the Forest Research Centre (CEF) of the School of Agriculture (ISA) of the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
