Our MEDfOR alumnus Bojan Mihajlovski defended his MSc thesis at the University of Lisbon, in Portugal, on 8th March 2023 and has recently started a new position in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Water Economy in North Macedonia.

His thesis entitled “Nationwide Fuel Models Classification Analysis Using Discrete ASL and Multisource Remote Sensing Data in Portugal”, was developed under the supervision of Prof. Juan Guerra Hernandez (ISA, University of Lisbon) and Prof. Paulo Fernandes (Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD)).

Bojan started working in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Water Economy in North Macedonia after completing his studies in the MEDfOR programme, as a National Project Manager on the project Landscape Fire Management in Western Balkans (LFMWB) taking part in the project for the Republic of North Macedonia.

Bojan is from North Macedonia and studied at the University of Padua and the University of Lisbon in the academic years 2020/2022.
